...I stayed at the Sultan Bey hotel and couldn't fault it. The rooms were clean and clutter-free with ensuite facilities, television, minibar and air conditioning. The food was excellent, with buffet-style breakfast and evening dining in european and asian styles. ...is truly beautiful. The Sultan Bey is set in the Downtown area of El Gouna. Close to shops and bars, but most importantly, this is where you find the jetty for the boat to the beach! The whole resort is quite low key, so there is no noise from the local bars and it was easy to get a good nights sleep after a hard day at the beach. Our room at the Sultan Bey was huge. ...lively holiday than we did if that's what you would rather have, but it's not really a "party animal" type place.
