Sunny Beach Resort

I went to Sunny Beach, Bulgaria last August with my wife, I think we went because we had heard it was so cheap to eat and drink and fancied seeing if this was true, and also to try somewhere a bit different as we didn't know anyone who had been before, so we had no idea really what to expect. We paid just over £700 for both of us, for two weeks in August with taxi transfers and a three star hotel on the sea front which we thought was extremely good ...

When we arrived at our hotel it was about midnight so we dumped our stuff in the quite basic hotel room and went out to explore the many bars and resturaunts. We were very pleasantly surprised at what we found. ...quiet bay 10km north of Sunny Beach. The village works on an "all inclusive basis". This was the first time we'd ever gone all inclusive and as everything in the town is so cheap, if we were to go back it would probably have been the last time we'd gone all inclusive aswell. ...is the most convenient for Sunny beach. The security at the airport is very tight and it can take a while to get through all the check points but at least it's good. We were staying at the Elite 3 apartment's which is part of an apartment complex, all with very large pools, bar, restaurants, shops and amusements. The Elite 3 is very clean and safe with its own security guard at the gate. The pool bar also serves very nice food, at very reasonable ...

...at the Majestic hotel in Sunny Beach. We had read some scary reports on this hotel, in particular block 2, so when we checked in and were given a room in block two we were worried. The Porter showed us to our room, and we were pleasantly surprised, we had booked a twin room, but had been upgraded to a suite. If you are going to this hotel with Thomsons you should have no worries, we were told that they get the best rooms as they are the Majestics ...

"Sunny beach, Bulgaria" The resort extends from the unique museum town of Nessebar to the green south slopes of the Balkan mountain. I went to Sunny Beach last year and enjoyed it. It's a purpose built resort with a good variety of restaurants and bars. Theres a few clubs as well and ive seen some strip clubs so there's something for all tastes! Alcohol is incrediby cheap, I found a pint of lager for 25p just off the main street of pubs!! You'll be hard pushed to spend all your money. There are a few local foods that you should try, not sure of the bulgarian name, but its vine ...
...mins away by car/bus from Sunny Beach called Sozopol which is where locals tend to go for a day out. I'm not sure how good the trnasport is, I'd imagine notr very good as we stayed in Sunny Beach the whole time apart from being taken to Sozopol by car. Bulgaria is joining the EU next year so I think prices will increase a lot so travelling to there before next year would be the best thing to do if you want a cheap holiday. ...

Sunny Beach has seen as enormous rise in tourists as well as the even bigger rise in construction. Even though it has been praised for a cheap holiday destination ( three course meal for one is under 5 paunds), it is has become more like a 18-30 club for the last few summers. Visited Sunny Beach, Bulgaria in August 2007. Travelled with a friend and his parents so was slightly dissapointed when the holiday was booked as I had hoped for one of the more traditional 'party' resorts such as Magaluf. However, upon the first night of wandering Sunny Beach I was amazed. A great place with plenty of bars offering great deals on drinks and meals. I have recently visited sunny beach resort in Varna I can say it is one wired resort. I will start with the first day I was their, I started great load of friendly people it was about 3pm I was drink in the resort till about 12 I thought it was great but when I got out of the bar their was about 1000 Prostitutes linking arm with me and ask me every 5 second I couldn't believe it the hole place change from a peaceful place to a red light area. but ...
...I decide just to talk 2 them and tell the no that night I stayed in them my friend room and when I arrived back in the hotel I found out that my dad who travelled with me had got stabbed.
