Advantages: Real Snow, variety of runs and beautiful views
Disadvantages: Can get VERY cold! BELOW -30!!

Sunshine Village is located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies and only minutes from Banff, Canada. It touts itself as being "The Premier Ski and Snowboard Resort" and I think they are right. WHERE IS SUNSHINE VILLAGE? Sunshine Village is located just 15 minutes from Banff in the Canadian Rockies. I had the fortune to live in Calgary for two years, and for both ski seasons bought seasons passes for Sunshine Village. So what made me go back? Firstly, the resort offers superb value for money, both for day skiers and season pass holders. There is a huge amount of terrain with a total of 91 runs and 12 lifts.
