TI-Treasure Island at The Mirage, Las Vegas

So, I was visiting Vegas for the first time, and bringing along my daughter. Where should we stay! Treasure Island (or TI for short) seemed to have the best of all worlds. The right balance of kid friendly activity, next to full Vegas fun! And it was just right. A bit kitsch, flashy and fun for her. A bit exciting, thrilling and entertaining for us. TI has SEVEN, yes 7, different room types to choose from. Prices vary depending on the time of year ...
...stay. Prices for weekend nights can be nearly double those of weekday! Summer is not as popular as Autumn/Winter months. You can find Deluxe rooms (which is their cheapest) starting at $99 a night. And suites head into mid $300-500 a night! I stayed in the cheapest, and it felt like 4 star plus! I went here in November 2006 with my boyfriend for 10 days. We found the hotel perfectly placed for the hotels we wanted to visit, though a long walk down to the far end of Luxor, Mandalay Bay. But if you use the Deuce bus (5 dollars for 24hr pas) there is a bus stop right outside and a bus every 5-10 minutes. When did we stay - Sept/Oct 2006 Duration - 7 nights Room type - adjoined suite with 1 a king Size Bed and 2 x Queen Beds Group size - 3 This hotel is fabulous and well worth the luxury status that it has. We arrived by Limo from McClarren International Airport and were greeted by the bell boy who whisked off the suitcases and promptly put us at the front of the booking in queue.
