Tangier: City For Dreamers

Advantages: Everything I've mentioned in the review, an affordable, truely unbelievable city.
Disadvantages: Poverty and pollution, try to help out as much as you can.

...first time in morocco make sure you make a beeline for a coffee/ tea shop for some mint tea. very sugary but very yummy. not an amazing amount to do in the evening- no 'english' bars, or many tourists (thank god?!) but it is well worth mooching about and soaking up the moroccan atmosphere before moving somewhere else- fez/ asilah? ...
