WHAT IS TERRAVISION? Terravision is a transfer company who offer coach services from airports to various destinations. They have been in business for 10 years and you can also book bus tours through them. THE ROUTES They operate a route in France, Portugal and Malta. Disadvantages zero organization, not reliable, rude staff
I booked the shuttle bus from the central station of Rome 'Termini' to Ciampino Airport online at the website of the company. On the ticket information was written to be at the pick-up place at least 20 minutes in advance, since the bus was planned to leave at 12.00 I got there at 11.40. Perfectly on time and with the expectation of getting proper transportation service. My gate was closing at 13.20, so with the estimated travel time of 40 minutes to get to the airport I should have had nothing to worry about. When I got to the pick-up place, there was just chaos. On Monday 25th June my 05.25 pre-paid coach from Finsbury Square London to Stansted Airport did not arrive I waited 25 minutes and then had to take a black cab at a cost of £70 as I did not wish to miss my 8.30 flight (Ryanir has a very strict policy on late checkins). Since my return to London I have been emailing and faxing Terravision and to date have had NO REPLY. Customer service is not very high on their agenda. Disadvantages Untrustworthy, unreliable, unhelpful, incompetent
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! My partner and I used Terravision from Rome Termini Station to the airport in early August 2012. After being rudely told we were not allowed to place our small carry on luggage on board (or even small items) we reluctantly stored our luggage into the cargo hold underneath the bus and watched as others placed their bags on top of our 2 bags to make sure no one crushed our luggage. We then entered the bus and waited for another 10 mins as others placed their luggage underneath and boarded. At all times the cargo area was in clear view of Terravision staff. Upon arrival ...

Advantages Absolutely none
Disadvantages Everything! Unreliable, unprofessional, unhelpful, and hard to contact.
My experience of Terravision (July 2009) was awful; they took my booking (and my money) and completely failed to provide the service I had paid for. I rang several times and was told that the bus was on its way and then when the bus was more than 20 minutes late I was told that it wasn't coming and I had better go to Liverpool Street Station and get the train instead! I had no idea where the station was as I don't live in London and had a incredibly stressful journey finally arriving at the airport very late and only getting to the gate 5 minutes before it closed (having had to run all the way ...

We booked online for the Rome airport to centre service. We arrived to find our coach cancelled due to a dispute with the civil court in rome and we had to seek alternative transport. After numerous emails seeking a refund we were told that they would not provide a refund and that we should seek one from the civil court!!! Terravision's attitude and customer service has been absolutely appalling. We will never use them again...

Never take teravision! They always have problems with the police. So, once I try to return to the airport and they canceled to bus (police said that their buses were dangerous!) So they literaly told me to go away and find a solution on my own to get to the airport... So sharing a cab 30 euros... (split in 4 = 8 euros) was finally MUCH cheaper than Teravision. Terravsion has AWFUL service. They told me to send an e-mail to get reimbursed but they never reply to my numerous e-mails...

Terrorvision!! Never ever again. I had a bad experience with them 3 times - twice in the morning in Finsbury Sq ...it is like a ghost bus.. sometimes it is there, most of the times not. We had to pay for cabs/trains and lost lots of money. In the airport they were supposed to leave at 12 and left at 1am (my ticket was for 12 of course) because they did not have a full bus and waited for it to be filled up. They never answer your calls , emails. Please sue them someone . THEY SHOULD BE BANNED!!!

Advantages cheaper than the Stansted Express but thats about it.
Disadvantages no advantages prebooking; bad flow management, poor customer service
Spot the Terravision "selfpraising external" review - the ONLY one giving this company more than one star. My experience from Stansted: bad service, no idea on queue management, prepayment/prebooking has absolutely NO advantages - no wait - I think you save a pound or two - but this benefit is far outweighed by tha fact that you stand in line for an eternity with no apparent progess in sight. To make matters worse, if you decide to give up your place in line (yes, after having lined up for over an hour) and go to the office for a refund you are told that the office in Stansted cannot provide ...
