The Albany, London

It’s not just where you live that is affected that by old rule ‘location, location, location.’ Going for a drink works on exactly the same premise and I’m sure we all have those watering holes that aren’t exactly fantastic but just always seem to be in the right place. London’s a fairly large city, and there are thousands of places to drink, but I seem to find myself in a just a small handful more often than not. One of those places is The Albany. We were staying at a hotel in Regents Park and so after arriving on the Friday afternoon, we went out searching for somewhere to eat. We looked at a few places in the area, however there wasn’t anything that really appealed to us, and so when we came across The Albany we decided to give it a go. The Albany is a pub located on Great Portland Street which serves food. I would describe the place as being very unusual.
