THE AMERITANIA HOTEL – NYC
This is, by far, the worst hotel I have stayed in, in my entire life. First, I arrived with considerable baggage. An employee (by the way he was dressed I am not quite sure what he was supposed to be) stood in the doorway jabbering with another man. He did not offer to help me with my bags. So, I lugged them across the length of the lobby to the front desk. The girl behind the counter was rude. I took my key and ... ...The employee walked up to me and said, “Sorry about that. You see, it’s busy today’. It wasn’t! And he still didn’t offer to help me. I stepped into an elevator with a dirty floor. Upstairs, I stepped out into a dreary, dark and dirty hallway. The flat, dark carpet appeared to not have been vacuumed for a considerable period of time. I lugged my bags down that hallway. Took a left, and lugged them down another hallway ...

Advantages: excellent location Disadvantages: alot of dark colours in the rooms and hallways
...It was spotlessly clean, the staff were friendly ,the porter had our bags to the room before we even got the door closed behind us!
We had a room with two double bed which were lovely and comfortable there was a designer type chair by the mirror which added to the appeal.
The room wasn't huge but you don't spend a lot of time in there anyway.
There were plenty of clean towels in the bathroom and the bathroom was spotlessly clean. We had to go ... ...As you walk out of the hotel there is a Kinko’s across the street for internet copying etc there is also a grocery store on the corner for snacks beer there is a deli in there too but we never used it. there is also a selection of bars and resturants in the immediate area. The hotel is just around the corner from the studio where the David letterman show is filmed and you can get tickets to see it just by ringing the number on the door. Sometimes ...
