The Anglers Rest, Bamford, Derbyshire

The Angler’s Rest is one of three Public Houses/Restaurants in the little picturesque Village of Bamford, in an area of Derbyshire’s Peak District National Park known as the High Peak. I visited the Anglers Rest on Saturday evening with a group of friends, as we were staying over the road at the Church House. We received a warm welcome and were seated at the top level which for perfect for our group of eight. We were delighted by the menu which we found to offer a wide variety of food at very reasonable prices. The Chef/owner visited our table to tell us what specials were available in addition to the menu. We had three courses, ...
...under £20 per person. The quality of the food and the presentation was excellent. The staff gave a good service and the other customers in the pub were very friendly and chatty. I will definitley be visiting this pub again and intend to take my family for Sunday lunch. ...
