One of the most beautiful Islands I have ever been is Isla Mujeres
It is very small island long 5 miles and wide 650 meters. it have got the clearest sea water and the beaches are surrounded with white sand and very clean.
You can access this Island only on a boat, from Cancun or Puerto Juarez. In Pre-Columbian times the island was sacred to the Maya Moon Goddess, Ix Chel. When the Spanish arrived here in the 16th century they named it "Isla Mujeres" ... ...of the Moon Goddess here.
Isla Mujeres is located close to one of the many coral reefs where you can do Snorchling or scuba diving You can hire a golf car it usualy cost around 10 - 12 USD for an hour and half.
You don't need driving licence to drive a golf car but you have to show them your ID.
Without that they won't be able to lend you the car. There is plenty things to do on the island, you can do Swimming with a dolphins on a open sea which ...
