The Big Wok, Lincoln

When I used to live in Lincoln we used to visit this Chinese all you can eat restaurant frequently. Whenever we return to visit friends we go back to it as we always enjoy the experience. I know of people who live a good half hour from Lincoln but still drive here to have an evening meal at this restaurant which I think speaks volumes really! When you think of all you can eat places you think of some rather run down restaurants with soggy looking food festering under lights that look as though they have been there for a long time but this restaurant is different and far more appealing ... more

The Big Wok is situated in the heart of Lincoln, it is one road up from the Brayford Pool so within easy access of transport and the nightlife or shopping centre. The restaurant from the outside doesn't look too impressive but the smell certainly is! It is so hard to walk past this building without feeling drawn inside due to the lovely smell of the chinese food cooking. This restauant is a buffet-style Chinese with a bit of Sushi as well which is interesting! When walking in you are welcomed by a waitress who then seats you, the seating area isn't anything fancy- no table clothes or flowers ... more
