...place are shattered…and listening to the wave-lap being interrupted by cat-tracked vehicles at some unearthly hour was one of the delights Southwold had in store for us. Review of The Blue Lighthouse

Good place for a long lunch! Entering at 1340hrs on a Thursday, quite busy but after the usual lunch rush, why did it take 45 mins to deliver a tunamayo sandwich?!! We were not the only customers to complain about the delays, and no explanation given. This was August Bank holiday week, these places are going to be busy, but apart from one young blonde-haired lady, the staff looked fed up, great advert! Perhaps this place has changed hands since the "glowing" review in 2006, but I do not recommend the cafe to anybody, and considering the beer is brewed in the town, the Broadside was average. Overpriced, paying for the privilege of being in Southwold? ...
