Standing in the heart of the picturesque conservation village of Drymen, this former coaching inn really soaks up the mood of the beautiful surrounding countryside and nearby Loch Lomond.

The Buchanan Arms is located in the village Drymen, approximately 14 miles from Glasgow, in Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. It is a former coaching inn, and although the bar dιcor harks back to these origins; the hotel itself is thoroughly modern. It boasts gym facilities, swimming pool, a sauna and even a beauty salon.
The rooms have a distinctly Scottish feel to them as well as tea and coffee, guests are provided with shortbread ... ...a fairly bleak day weather-wise, the room felt very cosy and inviting, and we had a great view of the surrounding countryside from our window.
We had a dinner as part of a murder mystery event at the hotel. Guests witness a short sketch, a murder is announced, and the characters head off to investigate while everyone else heads to dinner. The actors then join you at the dinner table, and we were given the opportunity to interrogate all the players ...
