...and a big fan of The Carolina Inn. In all fairness, I must disclose that I have never stayed overnight in this hotel as a guest; however, I have attended weddings, receptions, dinners and music events at the Inn and I have always had a very nice experience at this classy venue. I am rating this hotel based on the experiences I have had personally so I therefore cannot comment on the room service or how fluffy the pillows are--I can tell you that ... ...Hill, next to the campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. It is only one block away from the main street which runs through town (Franklin St.) which boast many nice restaurants and shops. The Inn is housed in a beautiful old building built in 1924 in traditional southern style. The Carolina Crossroads Restaurant is a 4-star restaurant in the Inn which serves excellent and sustainable meals using a variety of fresh, local ingredients. ...
