    3 Stars Pretty decent East End pub 18/12/2000

    Advantages Advantages Quite a cosy pub on the fringes of East End

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Nothing really sets it apart from any other pubs

    Don't let the name fool you - you won't find this pub in the City, although it is within walking distance from Liverpool Street and Aldgate East. It's down Commercial Street on a corner and is pretty blatant, so you can't really miss it. As a pub it's pretty standard, really. A few pool tables, standard beers, a couple of TVs that play most sports fixtures (especially football) and yes, a dart board! It's got a pretty plain layout, being as it is a basic rectangular shape with just a few downward beams (of wood, not light!) to break it all up.
