Advantages: Good location. Not too expensive Disadvantages: Rooms are a bit small
I've stayed twice at the Feathers Hotel in Mount Pleasant in Liverpool and rate it as a good hotel in the medium price range.We paid 38 pounds for a double room on my last stay ,that was the rack rate for bed and breakfast. The bedroom was comfortable although to be frank not very big,it was well equipped with a toilet and shower en suite.It was nicely furnished and there was satellite TV and IDD facilities.
The Feathers is a comfortable hotel,there ... ...one evening,and the reception area is neat and tidy. Where I think the Feathers is really outstanding is their breakfasts. England generally is a good country to have a hearty breakfast in but the Feathers is well absolutely outstanding. The Feathers Hotel is conveniently located at 117/125 Mount Pleasant and is a few minutes walk to the city centre and the Albert Dock.It is also close to excellent pubs such as the Philarmonic and all the great ethnic eateries along Hardman Street. I have stayed at the Feathers twice and found it to be a very friendly hotel. My room on both occasions was comfortable,well equipped,although not very spacious. The breakfast at the Feathers just has ... ...coffee.You can eat as much as you want as it is organised on a buffet style.There is a comfortable bar downstairs and the service is good. My only gripe when I last stayed was a 3 pounds charge for parking in the car park at the back of the hotel. ...

Advantages: cheap, clean, friendly Disadvantages: bit of a steep drunken hill climb coming home at night
...visiting Liverpool consider staying at The Feathers Inn. I stay whenever I am in the city and have found the staff to be really friendly and courteous at all times. The breakfast is great for soaking up the beer from the night before and you are never rushed out of your room.
The hotel is nice and central (2 minutes walk into town or the top nightlife in Matthew St).
It's cheap, it's clean, it's relentlessly cheerful and you won't risk spending ...
