I think the review before this one was really harsh, and in fact when you read the whole review he sounds like he had a good time, despite the 'barely edible' food! I've been to this restaurant a couple of times and I've always really enjoyed myself. The food is solid Greek Cypriot fare, and if you like Greek food then you will like the food here. I have been to the lantern taverna twice now and have had a great night both times. I would recommend the Meze as it is a great blend of Cypriot food and you certainly get your moneys worth. I found that the service was relaxed and you didnt feel like you had to force the food into you quickly.
