Advantages: The food is consistently excellent! Sticky toffee pudding is to die for mmm.... Disadvantages: The outside dining area could be better
The Lime Tree is an independent restaurant is situated in leafy West Didsbury in South Manchester.
For those unfamiliar, Didsbury has a fairly foodie reputation and there are tonnes of restaurants, both chain and independents throughout the area. For as long as I can remember it is unofficially referred to "the best restaurant in Didsbury".
It's certainly the first place I would think of to have a celebratory meal, perfect for when you just want ... ...out as French cuisine, nowadays the food is mainly modern British / brassiere style. Expect to pay between £3-£8 for starters, £11-£20 for mains and about £4 for deserts although they do serve Sunday lunch menus and early bird offers for lower prices (example price 3 courses for £15.95). Most of the mains are sufficient that you do not need to order extra sides but they are all priced at £2.95 should you be feeling extra hungry!

Advantages: Excellent Quality Good and atmosphere Disadvantages: Must book in advance for evening meals
...You can catch the early bird 3 course meal for about £15 follow by a coffee. The average price for a main course is about £10. You'll be spoilt for choice in selecting a wine because the list is endless. You can any wine from many parts of the world. I would recommend The Lime Tree to anyone who want to have good quality food especially for the special occasion. But book in advance if you want to have an evening meal.
