The Murrayfield Hotel, Edinburgh

This year my family and I had booked tickets to the Scotland V Ireland rugby game at Murrayfield unfortunately due to the foot and mouth outbreak this trip was postponed until September. We had booked our tickets and a 2 night stay with dinner bed and breakfast at the Murrayfield Hotel, for a family of four this cost around £70 pp per night there where no child reductions due to it being a rugby weekend and this included a matchday programme for all members of the party. I needed a hotel close to Edinburgh airport for a morning flight and searched the web for an appropriate one. Is it odd that this is something I like doing? Searching for hotels in a city and finding the best value? Probably. Anyway, The Murrayfield is situated on the route to the airport, close to Murrayfield stadium and 20 minutes walk from the West End of Edinburgh. Perfect location.
