For our first full day on the Isle of Wight, we decided to do a lap of the Island to see what was out there and to basically have a look around as well. We had a few leaflets that we took with us from the Premier Travel Inn to ensure that we knew where we were heading and what we would see. If you have read my opinions on Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park, Blackgang Chine and Robin Hill Country Park then you will already know that my family and I are great lovers of the beautiful Isle of Wight. The Needles park is situated on the West side of the Isle of Wight at Alum Bay, between the places of Freshwater and Yarmouth. It is easy to reach by car along some of the windy country roads of the island and if you approach from the south, the views of the sea and cliffs are breathtaking. The park can also be reached by bus. The park is named after the famous Needles rocks and lighthouse, although there is much more to do and see than this.
