...a three night break at The Old Quay House Hotel in Fowey (pronounced Foy) in Cornwall.
Having done a lot of internet research to have chosen the Old Quay hotel in the first place, and then whilst staying there to have been able to look at the alternatives, I am certain this is the best hotel in Fowey by a distance.
The hotel proved to be an excellent location in the centre of the town.
A lovely hotel right in the centre of Fowey. Don't be put ... ...rooms, as they actually overlook the street outside, which is so nice first thing in the morning. The sun terrace at the back of the hotel is a great place to enjoy a glass of wine, chill out, read a book and watch the boats go by.
Fowey is a town with very narrow streets and stepping out of the hotel into Fore St is such a lively and lovely experience. We stayed in Room 2 which had a lovely bathroom {although with towel hooks which couldn't hold ...
