Advantages: Fair few shops, good selection of food, nicely laid out Disadvantages: Can be very busy
Situated in New Street, the pavillions has a wide range of shops and is very convinent for the buses that go in and out of the city. At the forefront of the pavillions is the city's biggest HMV. There are about 4 floors each catering for a different product, Film/DVD, Singles, Albums, Games. They always have a good selection although prices can be high. Elsewhere in the pavilioons there are a few decent gift shops, such as Innovations. Perhaps the ... ...Situated on the top floor, there are around 15 styles of food from Pizza to Chinese. Advantages: Range of shops Disadvantages: Can be a bit too small
The Pavilions is located at one end of New Street in Birmingham. It's not a big place, in terms of volume of shops, but it has several floors, and a large variety of shops. The biggest is possibly HMV, while spans all the floors, with a whole range of musical taste covered. All in all, the centre is full of variety, and has a wonderfully ...

Advantages: None Disadvantages: Where do I start................
Walking through the Pavs this afternoon for perhaps the millionth time in my life I finally realised what a dump this place really is. Built as part of the Bull Ring Vision of the 1960s it really hasn't jumped forward much in 30 odd years.
To access the Pavs is mainly done by a long rampway leading up from one of Brum's main high streets, New Street. And God, why do the owners of these places still think tacky muzak will improve matters for bored shoppers. It was liking walking through a time warp as soon as we entered this monolothic cavern of uniformity. Even more of a step backwards after enjoying the rest of the day in the more accessable & more interesting parts of the city centre.
All the usual names are here, MacDonalds, HMV, ...
