...the fact that I'm not really into musicals but got dragged along by the other half. I've been to see Les Mis and wasn't very impressed with that so was a bit sick at the thought of going to see this musical. Disadvantages: The price- for a family trip its an expensive outing

Having seen Phantom of the Opera in 2005 and been blown away by the whole production, my fiancé and I decided to treat ourselves to tickets to a performance over the 2006 Christmas period. At £45 a ticket for a matinée performance its not a cheap afternoon out but we knew, having seen it before, it would be worth it. ...Loydd Webbers classic Phantom of the Opera Musical, i'm still blown away and would love to go and see it again. If your looking for an outing with the family, with older children, teenagers (as a 3 hour long musical would likely bore a 6 year old) then this is the place to go.
