The Space, Leeds

The Space is a relatively new addition to the Leeds club scene, it opened two years ago near the corn exchange in the town centre, close to a lot of the trendy bars and also close to the canal. The club is located down a back alley, but it is easily given away by the long ques on most nights. I have had many great nights out at Space in Leeds. The club has a truly amazing atmosphere. At a weekend it costs approximatly £10 admission but this is money well spent. Everybody is just there for a good time, no leary blokes! The people are fun and friendly. bar staff are polite and efficient. The doorstaff are brilliant, they are friendly yet effective. The drinks are a wee bit pricey but i'm usually too hammered by then to care! The music is brilliant - two rooms to suit two totally different tastes. If you want 5 (yes five!) bouncers to take you to a room, two holding you down and one told to block the camera whilst another blocks the door then beat the crap out of you and steal your wallet and Blakberry by all means go to this place! And my son is not the only clubber to receive the same treatment, another 18yr old celebrating his birthday only last month was also beaten up and according to his review of the place, it is now a police matter!
