Advantages: Excellent value for money
Disadvantages: can get really busy and uncomfortouble to eat.

The Squirrel pub is on Bispham road, just under a mile from Bispham Village. If there is anyone comming to Blackpool on holiday and wanted to try the excellent lunch they do there, the easiest way to get to the Squirrel is as follows. Onto the prom to Gyn Sq roundabout, that is the only roundabout on the promenade to my knowledge where the Savoy Hotel is and the Gyn Pub. went to celebrate 25th wedding anniversary food was horrible, cauliflower was hard and the roast potatoes were burnt and the new potatoes were half cooked. we also took our granddaughter we were given a bowl so we took it to the cavery only to be told in an abrupt manor that they would not put any thing in it we had to at the table surley this should have been explained when we were given the bowl. altogether not an enjoyable 25th wedding anniversary.

Advantages: Fantastic value
Disadvantages: Very little choice. Apart from carvery only one fish dish and one vegetarian

...quick and friendly both in the bar and restaurant. Excellent quality of food, but menu limited. Only go here if you want carvery. Plenty of parking behind the pub. The prices are outsandingly good.Beer prices start at £1.74/pt (Thwaites). Wine similarly excellent value. Children welcome if well behaved . Disadvantages: toilets oin the main pub very horrible

...this pub last week for the first time. As you walk in, it looks like a lovely homely pub, with lovely seating areas and a quiet cosy atmosphere. The bar staff were friendly, and did not mind that i had a 4 year old with me, who was willing to explore the whole pub. Disadvantages: rubbish staff who are very unhelpfull

inconpetant staff the ploughmans having to wait 30 mins and still no food whent back to the inconpetant staff who made a joke of it, then eventually brought the ploughmans to our table and dropped my wifes cheese on the floor he made light of it and said he would replace it,but when it arrived it looked to have grit on the underside of it then, then no condiments at the table no salad dressing. so i we could not eat the meal we paid for but my dog ...
