The Wendy House is the monthly Alternative night held at the Stylus. This is a great night and one that's also held after the students have gone home for the holidays.
Admission is currently £4.00, or £3.50 in advance (plus booking fee, which makes it about four quid anyway) and the hours are between 9pm and 2.30am (the bar closes at 2 though). Drinks are nice and cheap, being a student bar and there is often a drinks promo of some kind on.

The night has been going for a few years now. The history on the site goes back to May 1998, when the second room was opened. The sixth birthday party will be held in May of this year and The Wendy House is currently the biggest alternative night in the North. The popularity just seems to grow and grow!
