...problem at the Kings X Thistle and had contacted their enquiries department by e-mail to arrange for parking. I was delighted by the fact that within one hour confirmation that a space had been reserved for me was received by e-mail. No mention of the £12.50 per night charge though (but we can’t have everything and I wasn’t being billed!) The Thistle is EXTREMELY close to the station, situated on the road that runs parallel to the main platforms. A couple of years ago, i was in london, together with two guys of the centre, doing a series of presentations at the imperial college, a company and another university. The fact is that in Barcelona we've booked one room for the three of us, just by installing a camp bed in a double-bed room and without breakfast. At that time we couldn't spend so much money and we needed to save where we can. When we arrived ...
