Advantages: Location Disadvantages: 2 star hotel and it deserves them
I have just stayed there 14/09-16/09 for 2 nights on a weekend break through Superbreak and it deserves its 2 star rating.
The room rate was starting from £160.00, I don't think that was anywhere close to what the price should be.
As tends to be the case the entrance and front of house is very nice and does have a luxourious feel to it. Nice couches and chairs, welcoming smiles from staff, lots of mirrors, new carpets.
Fortunatley we only came ... ...the most use of our time.
The neagtives
I'll start with a small one, a Snickers wrapper was left on a landing for the two days we were there, I would have picked it up but wanted to see if any staff did, they didn't, it was in a very obvious place.
The walls seemed to have been papered recently and they have made quiet a good job, but all the corridor cupboard doors have a leatherette cladding, the ones on our corridor were very obviously peeling ...
