Thompson - Fortunate Isles Cruise
The Flight
We flew on Britannia Airlines to Tenerife (South) from Cardiff on an afternoon flight Saturday, 9th January 2004 for the 7 day cruise. The flight was about half an hour shorter than expected.
On arrival at Tenerife, the airport was very busy, we had to wait on the plane for quite some time for the bus to take us to the terminal and then an hour or so to claim our luggage. The Thompson reps were great, ... ...the crowd.
It was dark by the time the coach left the airport, so we didn’t get to see much of Tenerife on the outward leg of the journey. It took about 40 minutes to reach the port, where we were met by another rep, and led into the dockside terminal where the first of our fun photographs were taken, followed by our security photographs and booking in before walking a short way along the dockside and onto the ship where we were immediately greeted ...

Did the med on the spirit last week 2/5/08, love it.
it was our 1st cruise and cant find one thing to complain about, cabin was on level 8, we had a queen sized bed a big window and plenty of room.
The staff must be some of the nicest ppl we have ever met they cant do enough for you
The food was brilliant 24 hrs a day, the entertainment was great always something going on.
Ship does have a slight shudder but you get used to it and dont notice it after a while.
Been back a week and are looking for another spirit cruise for later this yr, cant wait in our eyes faultless ...
