My wife and I went on a ski holiday to Austria last winter with Thomson. Well, thankfully the holiday was a lot of fun, but in many ways this was in spite of Thomsons. They pushed a hotel on us which was a long, hilly trek from anywhere, told us where the nearest Thomsons office was, and then disappeared. ...of the day trips with Thomson while we were away. One was a 4 Wheel Drive tour up the Troodos mountains and the other was a day trip to Nicossia. Both were very well organised and I would reccomend them to anyone. We also hired a car through our rep and that was quick, easy and painless. On our return from Cyprus I wrote a letter of complaint to Thomson about what had happened. I really just wanted them to apologise and investigate the hotel further. ...

Myself, my partner and a friend booked a holiday with Thompson's the Dominican Republic. I explained to the advisor that friends of ours were getting married at the Riu Palace Macau and that we wanted to stay at the same hotel, as we were guests at the wedding. As there are 3 of us we were hoping to get a suite with 2 bedrooms. I was advised that unfortunately there were no suites left at the Riu Palace Macau, but there were suites at their sister ...

My family have used Thomson Holidays for the last ten years travelling to Majorca, Minorca, Tenerife, Corfu and cruising and have always had satisfaction. The descriptions of the resorts and hotels or apartments have been accurate and never have we been let down by things not mentioned in the brocures. The help from reps has ranged from fair to excellent, the only disappointment with them is that some are too keen to sell you excursions. Prices ...

I recently had to cancel my summer holiday to Ibiza because of a sporting injury. I had booked with Thompson direct and had paid the initial deposit of £400. After my injury i contacted Thompson and told them i had been advised by a Doctor that i should not travel as i would require surgery and would not be fit enough to travel by the time the holiday came around. The brochure prices are competitive, and you get some discounts knocked off your holiday. Most of their accomodation is located near the resort centres, which is good.
