...across the road to the Toby Carvery. We thought that this would be a good option as it was so close and a carvery so we should be able to get our food very quickly which would help with the hunger pangs... oh we were wrong!

I can't bare to call this place a restaurant... anyway, upon entering we were unsure as to whether we had to wait for a table or not as there was no sign but there did appear a station where tables were ... ...should do. Eventually Mrs B got bored of several members of staff walking past us and so asked one of them what we were to do, yes, we did have to wait. Eventually a man came to seat us and his attitude was as though we were causing him a great trauma having to seat us he looked at us and said 'hello?' not 'hello, a table for how many?? do you need a highchair?'
He nodded in the direction of a table and said 'sit there' so we did and then wondered ...
