Advantages: Just busy enough and beautiful views of mountains opposite
Disadvantages: Limited ferry service

I agree that Torre is a very pleasant resort indeed - possibly the nicest on Garda though Malcesine would give it a close run. The only downside is that it has a less frequent ferry service than many resorts (though this of course could account for its relative quietness!). The 11.15 to the north of the lake is useful and the cross lake vehicle ferry which runs every 35 mins is also good for getting to the western shore. use of these can give you ... Read review
