...called Champs de Mars – Tour Eiffel which as the name suggests, is very close to the Tower. Off we tottered trying to find it. It wasn’t difficult considering you can actually see the huge tower for miles around! All cameras came out tourist-stylee ready to snap at all angles of it. I prepared myself to see the awful tower for the first time, eyes wide, camera at the ready…and we turned the corner to be greeted by the huge, sturdy, ... ...a bit pricey because the tour isn’t very long but in my opinion its worth seeing Paris from such a great height and spotting the various other landmarks from the top platform.

On my recent trip to Paris with a friend I knew that I wanted to go up the Eiffel Tower. I’d been up the Tower about 16 years ago but the last time I was in Paris, about 6 years ago, I couldn’t go up as the ex-Mr Tart was scared of heights. ...husband and I visited la tour Eiffel at night, having previously visited it in the middle of a hot summer day. I thought, a night visit would be quite different, the night scene would be a nice change and the crowds will not be so bad. Upon reaching the Eiffel Tower, I wasn't wrong in my assumptions because it was quite deserted and we had a fabulous time!

The Eiffer Tower (La Tour Effiel) is the most important monument of Paris, and the Symbol of the Ligh and Love city, although if you go to Paris, there is no much illumination lol. Eiffel Tower is 324m long, the weigh is 10000 tones, in summer it can be 18 cm taller than in summer because of the high temperatures in metals

I went up the tower this summer, in july, when I went there were a lot of people but it wasn't a problemas because the queues are very fast and you don't have to wait for a long time.
The tower has 3 floors, you can climb the 2 first floors by feet in steps or by lift, but if you use the lift you have to pay a bit more. It is not tiring, at least for me and it is good for health hahahaha.

If you visit Paris its almost rude not to go up the Eiffel tower. Those of you who have read my other reviews on Paris will know I went there last summer for a few days……and yes I did venture up the Eiffel tower. History:

The eiffel tower must be one of the most strange monuments ever built. But it is truely magnificent when you are stood looking up at it.
The tower dominates the Paris skyline and is a must when you visit. However it is not a cheap place to go. To be honest I found it better to stand at the bottom and munch on a crepe than going up although the views are spectaular.

I suppose it would seem hard to write a decent review about a landmark that is so well documented and features in just about every movie filmed in France ever. i know that you will have seen pictures of it and perhaps seen one of the many movies: View to a kill, Le Divorce etc and I am sure that you have really grasped the true size of the thing. It is absolutely emormous and seems to climb for ever. We visited it on the 21st of June 2006. We got ... ...the metro). Basically we were walking on the street that has the Tower on it, but we could not see it at all. Initially you have to look up into the sky to see it as there are lots of trees around it.
I could not fathom the size of the tower and I felt daunted at the prospect of going up to the top.
The price was OK, but if you are on a budget make sure that you include enough money. It was 11 Euros to go to the top and abouot 9 Euros to visit ...

The Eiffel Tower is the ultimate attraction in France and certainly it does not fail to amaze. On flying into the airport (Charles de Gaulle) I got a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower and at first I thought it was smaller than I had imagined.
Yet, the next day we set off. It is really simple to get there by metro and from the station it only takes 5 minutes to walk there. It is well signposted. You are probably thinking what a nutter I am - surely I would ... ...up, so it is hidden behind buildings until you get nearer it.
I first saw it on turning a corner and its anormity was astounding. On arrival we queued up (we went in June and where in the queue about 2-2 1/2 hours). This was OK, except for the fact that there were people walking round trying to sell things which gets really annoying.

If you are visiting Paris then the Eiffel Tower has to be visited.
The views of Paris were spectacular especially from the second level. We took our 2 children up but be careful of the lifts because you are very tightly packed in and they nearly got squashed.
We also did not find the prices to be expensive and thought that 17 francs to enter to be good value.

I heard of Eiffel Tower's twinkles of lights stop after the july 14th. Then, I had the opportunity to take photos from the "Lady of Paris" in night, with all its lights.
If you want to see a last time, these ephemeral stars, then hurry up to come. Many people come each night to admire "her".
These thousand and one stars (I didn't count...) twinkle during few minutes, at 10 PM ans at 11 PM each night, at nightfall.
In summer, sky is still light ... ...a side, orange and sometime pink and red at sunset side, clouds give relief to sky, mossy or diffused from far.
The Eiffel Tower, standed up high to the sky, luminous twinkling in the night.
The "Lady of Paris" illuminates, visible from far, like as a lighthouse of tourists attracted by this yellow-orange light. A pencil of blue light at horizontal way, rotating around its head, covered of many antennas.
