...big suitcase. Consequently when I travel overnight on business I have to take a fairly large suitcase. ~~~ Sleeping Companion ~~~ Peter is my favorite stuffed penguin, who I have had since I was a little child. I can't sleep without him and he travels everywhere with me. He really enjoyed going to the Caribbean last year for my honeymoon! I know, I'm a nutter- but if you take a look at my penguins site you will see how cute he is. OK you are all ... ...essentials in (Peter has to travel in here in case the luggage gets lost!). Once I arrive on holiday I use it to carry my stuff to the beach/pool and to carry shopping around in. It cost £5 over ten years ago and has served me faithfully ever since. For those trips out which may involve a little activity the bum bag is the perfect essential. It travels to theme parks, shops, on dive boats and wherever I don't want to be lugging around the rucksack ...

...splashed across them in the travel shops: you know, the ones that cost upwards of £10 and on closer inspection contain only half a dozen cotton-balls, bandages in every possible width and length and a small bottle of antiseptic. DO NOT buy one of these. It's much cheaper to make your own and you're far more likely to be bringing things that you'll actually use. A good medical kit should vary according to personal needs, but here's a few things I ... ...you're doing your best to travel light, this can come in extremely handy, especially when you tear a hole in one of your only two pairs of trousers. You can usually pick up a cheap and compact kit complete with multi-coloured threads at any Pound Shop. Include a small pair of scissors too – you'll find they have myriad uses (though I can't for the life of me remember what I used mine for, I know I used them a lot. Though I think I tried to use one ...

Advantages: Keeps contents safe Disadvantages: weighs that little bit extra
...delsey strong durable and will travel well, a Delsey should last you 15 years of heavy travel, I travel constantly working for an airline, and have tried out variuos brands I would secondly reccomend Samsonite hard shell cases, but again the disadvantage is that they normally weigh 7kg, so if you are travelling economy class then that will leave you with only 16kg of luggage allowance with 23 kg being the standard allowance, so weigh up what suits ... ...your lucky enough to be planning a round the world trip, make sure you travel west to east , that way you will maintain the USA piece system throughout the entire journey, as if you go east first you will only be allowed the usual 23kg standard economy baggage allowance ...

Advantages: Easy to get around with, loads of space, all-round winner. Disadvantages: Don't pack breakable items.
How many of us have packed our dinosaur suitcases (the one that Aunty Molly left when she visited three years ago, the one that has no wheelies, that is usually bright orange and weighs an absolute ton when you’re done packing?) and triumphantly sat on the lid, happy in the knowledge that you have EVERYTHING (perhaps the kitchen sink too) you are possibly going to need in a foreign country? Come on, everyone who travelled for the first time ... ...hiding shamed faces behind your monitors…
Now then, how many of you have seen the intrepid foreign travellers to the UK humping backpacks on their shoulders? You have probably thought: wow, it looks heavy, and you would be right, but there is my point. These people WALK all over town, with their houses on their backs, much like snails, and quite simply, don’t feel too much pain. Even if you are simply going over to the Balearic Islands ...

Advantages: Secure luggage tracking. Automated Service. Get messages worldwide. Disadvantages: Must subscribe for 1 year at a time.
Having decided to take a well earned break from the UK, I went looking for some new luggage tags. I found a number of sites on the internet but the best I found was a site called pi-tag.com. pi-tag.com was on BBC Radio 2's website of the day in March 2005 and it was through the Radio 2 website that I found it.
It costs just £9.99 to register for one year - and for that you get your choice of 2 tags. You can purchase additional tags online if you ... ...your registered address to verify your contact details and a unique pi-tag number is assigned to you.
If someone finds your bag, they don't know your home address or telephone number but that are told on the tag to contact you at pi-tag.com - or by calling the international 0870 number. If you ring the telephone number, an automated service records the message and sends it automatically to your chosen email address. People with internet access can ...

I had been searching for a new case for a while, and whilst lightweight is important, and bags with wheels, pockets, zips locks, small boys to carry them, are all available on the highstreet in the end I just went for the cheapest.
The bag is great but that isn't the poimnt of this review, it was just meant to grab the attention of any people currently searching for a new suitcase and make them think about what would happen if ,whatever case you ... ...I never considered losing my case a problem until it happened to me in December last year on a flight from Singapore to Manchester. The flight was good, but my bag decided that it would like a few more days in singapore and didnt get on the right plane.
Apparently 200,000 bags are lost every month by the airlines, so chances are yours could be next!
The good news is that my bag returned swifty from its extended holiday in one piece complete with ...

Advantages: A good piece of luggage to have when travelling....... Disadvantages: none......
I brought this case when i was travelling to see my family on the train. I wanted something to pull along, as i had a buggy and a baby to contend with aswell. My oldest daughter took this suitcase for me, and it was the right size for her to pull along, and not too heavy. It is purple in colour, with two zips going around the outside to keep it shut, and too lock it you had a padlock and key.
The padlock clipped through both zips, then you push ... ...put the key in, turn it and the padlock pops apart. The handle can pull up to whatever height you want, then you lock it in place with two levers. When you are not using the handle is can be put down.It has a normal handle to carry with aswell. They come in different sizes and shapes and colours, and prices range from £9.99 which is the price of mine. This is big enough for a weekend away , and up to £35.00 for a very big one. They are a must if ...
