Advantages: Good value, great location Disadvantages: Very basic room, expensive bar and restaurant
...thing you see of the Travelodge is the large car park, which if you do have a car you can use at a discounted rate as a patron of the hotel. You then go up one last hill to get to the doors.
_Interior_
When entering the hotel you are greeted with a large reception desk and immediately to the left is the bar and eatery. Going through a double door and there is the staircase and lift shaft. As we were only on the first floor we used the stairs!
... ...decided not to, having experienced Travelodge breakfasts before! The cleaning staff wee friendly and the room was tidy, both when we first got there and then also when we got back in on the second day. When we asked at the desk about getting around the city, they were always very friendly and helpful. The bar seemed busy at night (as we were heading out to other bars!) but was quite expensive, as was the food you could buy from there.
