Advantages: Hot weather and Great Food, Tsilivi has everything needed Disadvantages: Not as we remembered it!!!
Firstly I just want to start off by saying this is the second review I have written on Zante, although this is more specifically about Tsilivi and that I am not just doing it for the money!
The first time we went to Tsilivi we said in the "Alamis Hotel" in Tsilivi in 2003. It was a great place to stay and had everything needed locally so you would never really have to leave the resort. I wont carry on talking about this one though as if needed you ... ...not the holiday we were expecting"
Resort
Tsilivi is located about half way up the island on the right hand coast. There is plenty to do within the resort and so if you didn't want to go outside of the resort you would not need to. There are a number of supermarkets and fresh bakeries and gift stores so there is not much of a walk for these. However there is only one chemist we could find which was about a 30 minute walk from Tsilivi which isn't ...

Advantages: Great value for money, lots of things to do, beautiful island. Disadvantages: Not much in the area, buses or a car is needed to travel to nearby towns.
My boyfriend and I stayed at Santy Maria in Tsilivi in September 2008 for a week. Weather: the weather was absolutely devine at this time of the year, temperatures high 30's reaching 40 degrees on some of the days, this unfortunately made it unbearable to stay out in the heat for too long although this was not a problem as there are some great bars and restaurants in the height of the heat. We didn't experience any rain or wind and temperatures did ... ...drinking: food has become increasingly expensive recently but this didn't appear to be too much of a problem for us. We were able to purchase good meals in nice restaurants for reasonable prices. A recommendation I would make is the Olive Garden in the centre of Tsilivi, a wide choice of meals for great prices, the staff are also very friendly. This is also true for the rest of the resort, the people living here as well as other tourists are incredibly ...
