...us on a trip on Virgin Atlantic Airways, and proceeded to tell us all of the little extras we would be getting on this plane. It calmed my nerves down a little bit, because the journey was around 7 hours there and about 6 hours on the way back, it is a very long journey and I didn’t want an un comfy ride and nothing to really watch on the trip. ==Booking==

That would be cheaper probably, but ...

...experience in luxury that flying Virgin Atlantic represents? The Virgin Clubhouse lounges, the on-board massseuse and manicurist, the bar right there in the cabin, the fully reclining beds...the list is endless. But what about economy class? Was there any trickle-down effect, or was the difference enough to effect a Marxian-style revolution (sorry way too much philosophy/history this semester!)

This flight was the pits, and needless to say, I was not too pleased with the prospect of flying back to the US later in the summer on my way back to university. When I landed in Newark, NJ I was a changed woman. I couldn't WAIT to fly Virgin back home in December for Christmas break. It turns out that while the India-UK ...

Having never used Virgin Atlantic, prior to Christmas we booked a holiday for four people to Las Vegas via Expedia.com. As there wasn’t a choice of carrier, we were stuck with Virgin and much to my dismay, in the weeks approaching the actual holiday I heard horror story after horror story of the level of service to expect. Departing on 23rd December we were to fly direct from London Gatwick to Las Vegas.

Once the party had assembled we approached a long but fast moving queue. I have used Virgin Atlantic on occasions for my flights with work and on my own holidays. My two most recent flights were one of each - one to Orlando international and one to Antigua's VC bird International. Virgin Atlantic was set up by Richard Branson. I'm sure nearly everybody has heard of this guy but for those who don't, he is the founder of Virgin and also Virgin Holidays. He has made millions from the company and it's many other projects it now has such as Virgin Vie cosmetics and trains along with also now developing the Virgin space travel program. Virgin Atlantic itself was founded in 1984 after Richard Branson already ...

Booking with Virgin was via the phone and the flight to Havana was out of Gatwick, not my favourite airport as it is a pain to get to and basically pretty crap as well. However on the plus side Virgin do make every effort to reduce the amount of time you have to spend in the airport on the day you fly, which is a good thing as the owners of Gatwick try to do everything possible to extend your stay but that is for another review. I took advantage ...

Virgin Do It Better
For one month of the year, I and she who will be obeyed escape to Florida, Orlando to be precise. Our mode of aerial transportation is provided by Virgin Atlantic. Unfortunately, London's Heathrow airport can be a stressful start to your trip. Many of Virgin's departures are within a few hours of each other, so the check-in area can be very crowded. My experience with Virgin continued to be a pleasant one at the gate. All too often, passengers get shipped passed the boarding point, and forced to wait in a tiny 'lounge' for an eternity. I hate it when that happens, so I was pleasantly surprised to walk through the gate, down the walkway onto the aircraft and find myself seated straight away (none of the usual waiting in the aisles whilst everyone else ...

I have only used Virgin Atlantic once, which was at the end of last year. I flew with my young son (only nine months at the time) and my partner. The thing to remember about Virgin Atlantic is that it is expensive, probably the most expensive airline around by quite a significant amount. Isn’t this a down side? I like Virgin Atlantic. I used to do a lot of travelling with my parents back when I was just a young lad. ...Flying course. The Virgin course does not involve a flight, because their research shows that if they asked people to fly, many people wouldn’t attend. And even if they did, they wouldn’t be able to concentrate because they would be so worried about having to take the flight later.
