Advantages: High level of service, as always
Disadvantages: Economy is a little, well, bijou!

...my rather poor review of Virgin with a much better one! So, where have I been with Virgin this year? I've flown to both Newark (New York) and Los Angeles. Virgin Do It Better For one month of the year, I and she who will be obeyed escape to Florida, Orlando to be precise. Our mode of aerial transportation is provided by Virgin Atlantic. Advantages: Value, Quality of Service, A pleasant experience
Disadvantages: Limited route network

...increase on all airlines, but Virgin Atlantic stands out as leading the way. Unfortunately, London's Heathrow airport can be a stressful start to your trip. Many of Virgin's departures are within a few hours of each other, so the check-in area can be very crowded. Advantages: Seamless journey from home to destination. The best airport lounges anywhere.
Disadvantages: Unsure about the new seat. Staff were friendly but not outstanding. Price is for when someone else is paying!

...the service you get from Virgin in Upper Class, then I hope you’ll find this very useful. I've flown Virgin Economy several times and on the whole they're very good so I would always choose them over the majority of the competition. Disadvantages: Virgin should be the nations favourite

...was our first flight with Virgin back on the 03 August from Bridgetown in Barbados back to Gatwick. I had wanted to travel with Virgin before, but have always had problems with getting seats at the cheaper fares, as I am always inflexible with dates of travel. Advantages: The service, the flight - everything!
Disadvantages: Expensive

The thing to remember about Virgin Atlantic is that it is expensive, probably the most expensive airline around by quite a significant amount. Isn’t this a down side? Well yes, obviously in one sense. But in another Virgin knows that in order to keep its customers it has to do everything possible to make it that significant amount better than any other airline. Disadvantages: They can't fly you everywhere you want. They can only fly from a few airports.

I like Virgin Atlantic. I used to do a lot of travelling with my parents back when I was just a young lad. As a family we were quite adventurous with our long haul flights; my mother is Australian and so flights around the world where never out of the question. Advantages: Helps to minimise fear of flying, fantastic airline
Disadvantages: Still frightened (didn't cure it completely)

...Flying course. The Virgin course does not involve a flight, because their research shows that if they asked people to fly, many people wouldn’t attend. And even if they did, they wouldn’t be able to concentrate because they would be so worried about having to take the flight later. Advantages: Entertainment and Variety
Disadvantages: Only the usual lack of space suffered on any aircraft

They don’t have particularly bigger planes or give you much more room but they are comfortable, you have “breathing” space at least. But there are so many more benefits with Virgin. ...went to New York with Virgin Atlantic and I have to say that they were fantastic. Now in the past we’ve been economy class squeeze them in customers. We’ve been on flights where there is so little legroom that most of the people are up and down like yo-yos to try and ward of the dangers of deep vein thrombosis. Advantages: Very Cheap and Personal TV really does help pass the time
Disadvantages: Always on far away terminals and bad duty free deals
