Advantages: what can I say excellent
Disadvantages: more expensive but worth every penny

I am a virgin frequent flight, and I must say that virgin aliantic is by way the best way to travel. I went to America last year by virgin atlantic and it was amazing from start to finish. We arived a check in early and got a free up grade, to premium economy, that was incredible. extra leg room, extra arm room, champagne or bucks fizz or orange juice with you get on for your flight. Disadvantages: Staff who forget that they are staff

My family and I travelled Virgin upper class to Antigua recently from Gatwick. The clubhouse was great and really relaxed us before the long flight. I was really deflated when we boarded, our plane must have been the oldest one in the fleet. It was bland and had no wow factor at all. Disadvantages: Virign none. Other airline cramped

...but this time travelling with Virgin Atlantic from Manchester to Orlando International Airport. Price - the price of the 2 holidays was comparable with Virgin actually coming out slightly cheaper per person. Airlines - our experience of the Britannia flights was that the aircraft were cramped, the inflight entertainment was basic (no seatback tv's) and overall not the best. Disadvantages:

Flight with Virgin can be comparable with Singapore Airlines. But its missing that oriental charm that Singapore Airlines have. Instead you have a loud and modern airline, it can be seen by the loud bright red uniform. The flight from Hong Kong to London was very goo with food to a high standard. Disadvantages: I was very cold onboard!

...as very impressed with my Virgin Atlantic Journey. I have read some reviews about the airline that are shocking but I had no troubles whatsoever! I was lucky enough to be upgraded at check-in to premium seating too! Once onboard I was offered assistance with my hand luggage and then once seated I was offered champagne, now I dont know if this was just because I was in the premium cabin though. Disadvantages: Number or routes is limited

...including checking in at the Virgin drive-thru check-in at Heathrow terminal 3. This is 'QUALITY' - hand over passport and ticket; Driver hands over check-in-baggage; Answer standard security questions; receive boarding pass and finally, whisked off by car to the ramp that leads to departures. ...for the consumer. I flew Virgin Altlantic to Florida with my family and the service was excellent. The flight staff were friendly and couteous, the on board facilities were good (a good selection of films) and even the food was edible. Our flight was part of a package so I can't comment on the air fare specifically but generally the whole holiday went well. ...had the pleasure of travelling Virgin Atlantic - both times from Heathrow. Firstly to Washington Dulles Airport and more recently to New York John F Kennedy. Both trips were superb. Most importantly these trips were the cheapest prices available (at the height of summer) but this hasn't seen any reduction in the level of service. ...of the group benefits that Virgin offers to its customers. Our flight was from Heathrow and we were all really impressed with the service and attention we received. The staff ensured that we all were seated together and were fantastic throughout the journey. ...with my recent experience with Virgin Atlantic Airways I am writing this complaint letter to you. Recently I flew from Boston, USA to Chennai, India with a connecting Virgin Atlantic Airways flight #350 from London to Mumbai. Virgin Atlantic review We flew from London Heathrow on the 27th April 2003 economy class to San Francisco. A rep on the baggage counter tried to sell us an upgrade to premium economy for £130, which we did not take.
