...was my first flight with Virgin Airlines. I flew with my husband, mother -in -law and 3 month old baby. We were allocated the bulkhead seats so that I could use the "Sky cots" which Virgin provide free of charge, but I kept my baby on my lap for the whole (12 hour) flight and used the extra space to stretch out. ...have recently started traveling with Virgin and must admit I looked forward to their legendary customer service on the transatlantic route. True to form their service was good, on the ground and in the air. From check in onwards the staff seem prep;ared to go the extra mile to make the journey more enjoyable for all. ...fly with. I've only flown with Virgin from Heathrow to NYC twice, but they would be my preferred choice of airline over anyone else. Apart from the trendy yellow or pink bags, which everyone loves, you get your own tv, even in economy. You can choose your own tv channel, watch movies you choose to view, listen to music, and even play computer games! They are punctual, fun, slightly different, and I think they are great. Advantages: Cheap to fly with
Disadvantages: have to go through Brussels to get to almost all of their destinations

I've flown with Virgin Express a number of times and I've got to say it ... this Brussels based low fares airline has got to be the best in the business. When they say low fares, they really mean low fares and, ok, so the in-flight service doesn't really come to much but I think a drink or two is all one really needs to get through a flight ! Well done to old Richard Branson even though he doesn't own the airline anymore (the Virgin Group still does) ... Read review

...family and I flew with Virgin Atlantic last year to Florida. The flight was superb and we had no complaints. As an individual who dislikes flying and only flies when 'needs must' I found myself at ease on this flight. The cabin staff were great and helped to alay my fears. Their overall professionalism showed through too. The kids thoroughly enjoyed things too with the recent advent of Games channels on the mini TV's and a good selection of films ... Read review

I first flew virgin back in 1990 and i was as impressed then as I am now - that says a lot. From the moment I stepped on the plane I was made to feel special, the cabin crew have always been so helpful in attending to me and my family. (I have three girls all aged under 5, the cabin crew bring presents and drinks and other goodies for the kids to make your flight as comfortable as possible). I recently took a Virgin flight from New York to London and thoroughly enjoyed it. Normally I get fed up with the film, other passenger noise and generally being stuck in my seat. You can imagine how pleased I was to find that on the flight I had my own film screen, with a wide variety of films to choose from. I flew with Virgin to the US earlier this year and I can quite honestly say they were the best airline I have ever flown with.It may have cost me a few extra pounds more than flying with an airline like EasyJet or Britannia but it is well worth it. The only thing that was similar to other airlines was the lack of leg space, but apart from that,Virgin was a cut above the rest.
