I highly recommend Virgin Atlantic for crossing the pond for both Business and Pleasure travellers. To start with the ticket prices are highly competitive and availability tends to be very good. The fact that you can reserve seats 6 months in advance is also a big plus along with any special meal requirements. Particularly useful when travelling with the children. This airline claims to give you a games console when you fly to America, but only if you go to New York or some where big like that otherwise you get some old crap plane with only a small screen in front of you. The claim to have to best planes (ok maybe if you have a new plane) but if you get an old one you get an old one.
