Advantages: you experience good ceremony . Disadvantages: not much.
The Wagha Border is about 30km west of Amristar. To attand the ceremony you get there at 4 p.m.
You can enjoy tea if you get there early.You san go to wagha border either by taxi or by autorickshaws, It will cost you round about 400/-Rs. The Wagha border ceremony happens at sunset. The ceremony is hilirious- lots of clapping, dancing, loud music.People fro both sides gather for ceremony. People chanting, singing, dancing enjoy the ceremony. Soldiger ... ...ceremony is of lowrig f flages.It happens everyday, but at weekend there is lot of crowd to watch the ceremony. The flag lowering ceremony is done slowly, because neither side wants other's flag to be higher ,which could indicate superiorty.The atmsopher is awesome . The sunset add the beauty to all the ceremony. You can buy DVD of this ceremony. So, next time you visit Amristar you must attend the ceremony. ...
