Advantages: Fantastic place and people Disadvantages: Hurricane!!!!!
Where shall we go? Dominican Republic? Sri Lanka? Mexico? That was decision me and my husband had to make back in January 2005 to make come true our dream holiday. We decided for Cancun, Mexico.
We worked very hard all year around so we can enjoy 2 beautiful weeks in our dream hotel and all inclusive. Our departure date was on the 11th October 2005. Being that I am 5ft 11 the flight was very uncomfortable and never ending, but it got to the end ... ...through the aircraft window, beautiful beaches and crystal clear water. Me and my husband suddenly felt so happy that all our energy started building up.
When we got to the Hotel, everything was so beautiful and the staff was fantastic and very friendly. We thought we never want to leave this place.
The second day we started to enjoy our holiday properly. We went on the white sand beach surrounded by palm trees and turquoise Caribbean sea. On Friday ...

i read the review about cancun with great interest and also with great thankfullness. i was fortunate enough to visit cancun last october and had a fabulous time. it was an unexpected trip as i had origanaly planned to spend that week with my brother in portugal. those plans fell through and i didn't want to waste my holiday so i got a bargain return fare of £250 to cancun. i arrived having booked myself a small appartment close to the most beautiful ... ...cost me something like £100 for the week. the sea was so clear and the weather was amazing. i was aware that it was hurricane season but nothing about the scene i was greeted with said that there was a hurricane on the way. my accomodation was in pok ta pok. it was clean, basic and filled my requirements. the staff who ran the appartments were friendly however, if i asked for something, i had to ask for it to be done there and then or i was left ...
