Whitehall Hotel, Chicago

This is a real find of a hotel if you are planning to visit Chicago. It does seem to appear regularly with special offers on the various online sites and I'd recommend hunting online to get the best deal at the time of your trip - I paid about £71 a night using hotelsrus.com which I thought was fantastic value for peak June. OK. My experience is a little different from the other reviewer! We have just been to the hotel this last weekend. We paid $100 US per night. Our room was small by US standards and rather shabby, looking as though all the furniture had been in the room since the hotel first opened. The staff were polite, efficient and helpful. Travelled to Chicago (lovely city) in the summer of 2008 and chose this hotel for the price (1000 US $ for 7 nights, 41$ a day for parking with valet) and the star rating (4 and a half).
