Advantages: Really nice food, friendly staff, good prices Disadvantages: Too far off beaten track for most
Now that you have stopped giggling at the back, I shall begin!
For the past year, my best friend has been living and working in Athens, giving me the perfect excuse to visit the city twice in the past 6 months. I've been really enamoured with the city, which can be seen from some of my previous reviews, and have really enjoyed the Greek cuisine. However, there is only so much souvlaki and mousaka that even the greatest fan can take and sometimes ... ...a bit different.
Many of the non-Greek restaurants in the city centre often appeared to be quite expensive but we were lucky enough to find this restaurant, off the beaten track in the district of Kalithea, within walking distance of my friend’s apartment. For many Athens visitors then this will be too far out but if you want a good value, nice meal, whilst exploring the Athens known to locals then it may be on your 'hitlist'.
