When we visited Woodbury outlet we traveled the hour's journey by coach, the grey line Port Authority which is located in New York City, 42nd Street & Eighth Avenue. We found this very easily by foot but if you are unsure you can take a yellow taxi.

On my second visit to New York we had decided to make the trip to Woodbury Common as we had heard this mentioned so many times before on our last trip but never had the money to make the trip over there.
**What is Woodbury Common?**
It is a member of the Chelsea Premium Outlets group and is a much larger version of our McArthur Glen Outlets, ... ...when I read up on Woodbury Common.
Claiming to have over 220 branded stores the thought of it was getting my credit card crumbling with fear!
**Where is Woodbury Common?**
As a visitor to New York I recommend you book a ticket with Grayline Tours you will see these dotted about throughout the streets of New York wearing red bibs with Gray line tours on they tend to ask you "Do you like shopping?" if this gets asked your on to the right people!!

Advantages: Lots of good sized shops with good discounts Disadvantages: A day trip and New York City offers much the same in Macys
I have been to Woodbury Common a couple of times and know several people who have too. Mody of us are of the same opinion..it's great. However, if you are going to be doing any shopping in New York City the likely hood is that you will be able to find everything you need in the likes of Macy's, Century 21, Old Navy, etc.
If you're passing Woodbury Common, and you have the time (there are loads of shops) call in, but I don't know if I would make ... ...might miss due to it..
It is very clean and family friendly though and pretty easy to find by car , if you have someone who can map read. The road signs in the USA take a little while to get used to. Also beware of the tolls. They are cheap, but sometimes you get a ticket which you then give to the next toll and the price depends on how are you have been. By cheap I mean $1 or $2. ...

the commons is great for shops, over 200. from addidas to zegna. this village is boasting the world's highest concentration of marquee labels.
which coming from britain is a culture shock to say the least a shopping addict could spend a few days here easily, it is a full day trip so when booking a trip to new york you must account for a shopping trip to this place as it is taking a day of your trip. when here remember the conversion rate, you will ... ...i got addidas golf shoes worth 100euro for 29 dollars which is about 20 euro or 15 pound. it helps to try and find out when new products are coming in to the shops so that you can get the best deals, maybe if you know someone from new york who could find this out?
always worth a visit for a bargain hunter, it is an all day trip so bring walking shoes. and plenty of water as that is where you can be stung for cash when buying refreshments. for families ...
