Advantages: lots of different things for different people Disadvantages: maybe more eatiries for the future would be nice!
The wythenshawe forum centre has been around for years but it only within the last couple of years(may not even have been that long!) that it has had a refurbishment which it was in dire need of!
The forum is a relatively large building that houses a few different things for the use of the local community mainly but is open to everyone.
Facilities:
library - this was done in the refurb which has seen a complete new look and a smarter image. It ... ...a up to date collection of dvds to rent out. You can also rent cd's too. There is a good sized childrens section with a few games and squishy chairs etc. They also have acomputer set up for the older children, which, i think is a playstation.
Both upstairs and downstairs they have pcs that you can use free of charge if you are a library member (which is free to become a member) and the use of a printer if you need it (10p per sheet charge). Upstairs ...

Advantages: Great facilities! Disadvantages: Depends how far you have to travel!
In General:
Years ago, this place was a rundown centre of the town, with hundreds using the facilities every day it wasnt ideal and needed a renervation. Which it gladly received...
Looks:
It now looks modern with a highly colourful exterior, the modern look doesnt end there. Inside the Forum, local art is shown ina miniture gallery. Making it a nice place to visit when you have a few minutes spare.
Facilities:
Including a library, Gym, Swimming ... ...fully appopriate for all ages. Old and young now use this and it really brings the community together, well as together as it can be!
Prices:
The prices are really affordable;
Gym: £5 a time or £40 a month! including access into the pool, steam room and sauna!
Cafe: Although I have never used the cafe i understand that for a Latte it costs around £2 which is really cheap considering you can go to the more known places and pay £1 more!
