...been to Menorca twice with Direct Holidays and we are going again this year, roll on summer - whoops there I go again wishing my life away! Check out free Children Places, our two are going for "nowt" this year, the savings £60 per adult and a fortune on the kids. what can i say folks, this year booked my first family holiday with direct. booked over the internet and without knowing it i had saved £££'s not pennies. after i had booked with them i decided to check out the competion and ask for exactly the same details flight, hotel and transfers. in total i saved for a family of 2 adults and 3 children £376 on the cheapest on the high street (going places)(same company!!! amazing eh!) so on my return home ... I've been a customer of Direct Holidays for about eight years. They were cheaper before being swallowed up by the Mytravel group. On the whole offer they still offer holidays at budget prices. A number of their accomodations I've stayed in have been a bit out of the way, like on the outskirts of main towns with no mentioin of this in the brochure. However there has normally been plenty around the complex in the way of shops/bars etc so not too ... Read review

...as far as I'm aware Direct Holidays' insurance is just about as cheap as anywhere else. Everything seemed to go flawlessly from the booking of the tickets, arriving at the destination and the holiday itself. There was however a very dark-spot on our holiday experience, on the return journey just as we were about to take of there was a massive thunder storm. ...(in Menorca), we found that Direct Holidays were very informative and great value for money everything that was described in the brochure such as cost, food, entertainment, rooms etc were all described very well. We enjoyed the evening entertainment for our children, the hotel catered for all ages (my little boy, aged 3 still sings his holiday songs now!!!). ...looked at various websites and Direct Holidays were by far the cheapest out of any I tried. I was quiet sceptical at the time as I had never heard of them. I booked on-line and sent for a brochure. It was easy to book on line and all the documents came through as promised, the booking confirmation and tickets. I booked a holiday with direct holidays to Gran Canaria, couldn't fault the telephone sales advisers were excellent, used to use the high street travel agents. The invoice and tickets arrived when they said it would. The holiday was great never been on holiday for two weeks self catering for that price, was expecting a hovel but the accommodation was as booked.
