...my surprise I saw that easyrentacar had not only taken the initial £25 for my rental, but also, a few days later, without any notification, robbed me from an additional £129.60. I have never seen any paperwork that would support this claim and as far as I see it it is a question of theft. I have used Easycar several times in the past without problems, and wouldn't have hesitated to recommend the service to friends. UNTIL RECENTLY when through no fault of my own the booking went horribly wrong. It was the last bank holiday of the year and my partner and I had been planning for some months to go away. My partner turned up at the allotted time on the Saturday to pick up the car to find that all the staff had gone home 2 hours early! ...

...recently hired a car from easyrentacar in Nice. I was offered an insurance waiver for £35.00 when I first booked the car to reduce the excess to £40.00. The car hire for the 9 days was £104.00 so I opted not to take the waiver it at the time of booking as it added £75.00 to the cost and if I cancelled at a latter date I would loose £179.00. I thought I may take it if offered it again when I collected the car, but was not, when I asked the staff they ...
...not pursue the issue. Unfortuantly I had an accident during the week. Not only was there a £500 excess but I never recieved an invoice or receipt for the accident damage but just saw the charge on my credit card but there was also no replacement car for the rest of the week. So be warned, take the insurance waiver!!! The car hire is still cheap even with the waiver, so take it! The car was actually very Nice! ...

We picked the car up with no trouble, quick easy, and away we went. The return on the other hand was a little more complicated. Well, all I can say is that the quality of the cars here are good and the price here is reasonable. The only but is that the banner of easyrent a car is big and everywhere aroung the renred car.
