Advantages: Can be very cheap, good offers, high speed connection, 24 hrs. Disadvantages: Lack of assistance or clear instructions for first timers.
EasyEverything is another brand rolled out by Richard Branson wanabee Stelios. The man who brought you EasyJet, EasyRentaCar and soon EasyMoney.
The cyber cafe chains are dotted around London and the rest of the major cities in Europe. Technically, the cybercafes are excellent, with over a hundred computer terminals, each with a high speed internet connection, flat screen monitor, web cam and additional facilities avaliable at an extra charge such ... ...£1. This is where EasyEverything can fall behind its competitors, as while it is good value for money at the moment, later in the day you could get just 14 mins for the same £1. Particularly, unreasonable when just two doors down is the also ultra-modern Virgin Megastore cyber cafe which charges £1 an hour regardless of the time of day. Depending on the time of day, depends which cyber cafe I choose to use.
EasyEverything does often represent good ...

Advantages: Good value at the right time of day, lots of terminals, quick download speeds, Disadvantages: Pickpockets, poor attention to after-net services (CD writing, printing), no toilets
What an excellent idea! Internet access at reasonable prices - you can pay a minimum and multiples of £1. The time you get is obviously related to the time of day and how busy they are. The worst I have seen is £1 for 24 mins. This tends to improve at about 8pm and then again at 11pm/midnight - when you would be looking at about £1 for 50 mins to 1hour. The real bargain is after about 1-2am, when £1 gets you 6 hours - although in effect you won't ... ...time you get for your money will start to decrease.
The cafes are clean, smart and have friendly staff and are of course ideal for people without internet access at home. I used them to access Napster for music downloads because I didn't have a CD writer at home. It is very easy to do. The internet connections they have there are (I believe) T3 connections. These provide lighting quick download speeds and reliable connections, and are capable of ...

Advantages: Cheap, clean, always available, refreshments too Disadvantages: Errattic reliability and speed of logon/logoff
Advantages:
Cost never seems to exceed £1 an hour.
Open 24 hours a day.
Despite low cost, I've never found it full up, unlike some other net cafes.
You can get a huge variety of Nescafe coffee based drinks and cakes to eat.
Some websites are completely FREE to use: unsurprisingly, the EASYJET one! But also occasionally others, such as the Lycos "Fetch" Game.
Average speed of use good.
Disadvantages:
Speed of use, logon and logoff varies.
... ...warning from Netscape telling me I have performed an illegal operation.
The screen then freezes, and it cna take 10 minutes before I am able to access the same username again. Tip: its quicker to buy another username.
Overall, the cost is so low you can't complain too much about errattic speed of access.
The very infrequent user should note that the credit on your ticket must be used within 28 days. ...

Advantages: Convenient, open 24 hours, can be very cheap Disadvantages: Can be quite expensive, sterile atmposphere
EasyEverything is a chain of Internet Cafes - with lots in London including Tottenham Court Road, Victoria, Trafalgar Square (towards Charing Cross) and King's Cross. You can spot them a mile off due to the big orange signs that stick out into the street.
There's never a problem for free computers as there are over 100 in each branch. The system is that you buy a ticket with a code word printed on it which you then enter into a free computer, choosing ... ...before you leave.
Overall, EasyEverything is good for convenient, 24-hour internet access but it's not exactly cheap during peak hours and there are better options available if you look around. Instead, try the Global Cafe, near Piccadilly Circus on Global Square. It's got a great atmosphere and is much cheaper. I've also reviewed this so check it out. ...

Advantages: good value, clean and bright premises, open 24hrs, fantastic facilities and PCs Disadvantages: none
Last night I went to Easyeverything in Tottenham Court Road for the first time and it was great, the only thing that was bad about it was that I couldn't log into Ciao!
The way it works is as follows, you go in, put £1 in the machine and out comes a little voucher with a user ID printed on it. You then go and find a computer. These are all flat-screen computer with an excellent mouse and keyboard.
You press the login button and type in your user ... ...and then my £1 bought me 74 minutes of internet access. The cafe is open 24 hours and if you are a nightbird you can get up to three hours Internet access for £1, a great deal.
The computers were very quick and they are spaced out nicely from other PCs soyou don't feel like you are sitting on top of each other. There are 500 PCs in total at this particular branch and there are also four other branches in London at the following locations:
*Oxford ...

Advantages: Cheap and easy Disadvantages: Not enough of them
Easy has pulled it off again. They have easyjet giving me cheap flights abroad and when I get there I can use their internet cafes to write home. I have not witnessed the British versions but if they are anything like the continent these are definetly the way forward. For under a pound for at least an hour it is a lot cheaper in most cases to use the internet here thann at home. The systems are fast, the environment is comfy and safe and great places. ...

Advantages: cost effective Disadvantages: unreliable internet access, lack of support when there are problems, and quality of customer service low.
I check my email on the weekend at Easy Everything High St Kensington as it is convenient and usually only £1 for an hour depending of course on how busy it is at the time that I go in.....
The last two times that I have gone in to use the internet, I have become increasingly annoyed by the lack of service.
The first of the last two experiences....my computer completely closed down without any warning...it had been behaving sluggishly for a while ... ...that I lost my page of info and any input I had placed into the system....I then needed to inform somebody that this had happened so that I could relog into the same computer (my password and login was also trapped in the crash).
Leaving my belongings in the trust of a complete stranger - I made my way downstairs to the counter to report the fault and found myself struggling in a cue....pushing my way to the front finally explaining that i did not ...

The thing is...it is not everybody that can afford to buy a computer, or a laptop, so for who those it is still difficult the cybercafe solves the problem. You can conect online for only £1 pound per hour. I must admit that the cost worths. The advantage is that you do not need to worry about nothing else, just take your sit and enjoy. If you do need suport, there are lots of assistants that can help you, etc..

Everyone knows easy. Want cheap internet? - use easy.
And in a way i understand exactly what its appeal may be to young students out there, however, in the real world, I do not really understand why anyone should need to subject themselves to bad service, awful decor, and too many terminals in exchange for low prices.
In life I have always demanded a certain amount of respect in my dealings with people, even to the extent of paying for great service ... ...excellent, why demand any less for yourself?
Easy undermines this. They sell out service and happy smiles, and replace it with unhappy faces, combined with over 100 terminals in each unit. Their excuse. Oh the age old excuse: low prices.
I think easy has lost the plot someplace. Objectively there is nothing that distingushes this service from another apart from its price. Realistically, anyone could fit 100 terminals into a room, and charge £1.00 ...

...in other opinions.
The Easyeverything space policy is the same in internet cafes as it is on aeroplanes: squeeze as many people in as you can, squeeze them in like sardines in a tin!
Even with only one person at each computer, it is not easy to stretch your legs or arms out without colliding with someone. Ans sometimes two, three, or even four individuals seem to be crowded around one machine, all gossiping over an email.
Such gossip, giggling, ... ...for. But for those of us filling in complicated forms a but of peace and quiet would aid concentration.
Packing that number of people into one room also makes for a hot and sweat atmosphere where the smell of BO is only too obvious. Again, atht may be all part of the attraction for sociable customers, but those seeking cleaner smelling air should be warned.
Still, "you get what you pay for". ...
