They're my new fave brand, right up there with Lush and Benefit but without the price tag!

There are two Revolution bars in Manchester, one being in the studenty Fallowfield area and one in the rather more up market area Deansgate Locks. I have never been to the Fallowfield one so this review is based entirely on my experience at the Locks.
Deansgate Locks is a strip of bars situated by a canal with access to the clubs via bridges. It all looks very nice as you approach. Towards the far end is Revolution.
The bouncers are ok usually but I have once been told it is over 21s when I presented my ID which was news to me but I will give them the benefit of the doubt.
As you enter there is a fairly large room with a lot of big black leather sofas. If you can manage to grab yourself one (you will be lucky as it is very busy!) you will find a table and probably a shot menu. There are all sorts of flavours of Vodka shots - Toffee, Fudge, Chocolate, Strawberry etc. There are way too many too list. However once you've decided what shots to have you will then have to abandon your hard to aquire seat to fight your way to the bar.
Yes, it is very busy in here - although not quite as busy as its neighbouring bar Baa Bar. Shots downed you have three choices, stay put or you can go to the far end of the bar and either take some steps upstairs to a large balcony area with more seating or you can go downstairs to dance.
Downstairs doesn't have a dance floor, it IS a dancefloor. There is little or no seating and a bar at the end where you go in at and the rest of the room would be empty if it wasnt for all the people packed tightly in dancing away. This isn't a big club but there is a lot of people and good atmosphere.
The music is less mainstream dance, house, drum n bass. This isn't necesarilly my favourite kind of music to dance too but lots of people like it and as the atmosphere is so good you can easily get lost into it.
If you are feeling like you have downed one too many shots and ask for water from the bar they will tell you they don't sell it but you can have glasses of it for free - wah hey! The shots are fairly cheap - I think around £1.50 which isn't as cheap as Baa Bar but still not too bad.
On the upstairs balcony you are more likely to find seating and it is more chilled out.The clientele seemed to be late twenties to thirties but there were some young people in here too.
On the whole you can have a good night out here but I wouldn't say it is one of the best places in Manchester.

Advantages: Central for clubs, cinemas and theatres; great vodka Disadvantages: Spend a couple of hours in there and you won't be fit for much else afterwards
